How would the delegates split into these various committees right?

Here is your answer: each delegate is to select three (3) committees of interest and of the three(3) selected, the secretariat would push you to one that best fits your profile. How would the secretariat do that you may ask right? Well, we were given forms to fill our professional and personal informations so it could serve as a guide.

Well I selected

1.Committee on Environment
2.Committee on Politics and Governance
3.Committee on Social Welfare

I don't know to which I will be thrown into but the good news is that irrespective of the committee one belong, one can push his/her submissions to any commiittee of interests.

So if you have any contribution(s) to make on any, you can mail me on: Engageyadomah@gmail.com

Thank you......

  2. CONFAB THOUGHTS II

Is this Committeeing of the Conference not exclusionary? If we wanted another National Assembly, we might as well have waited for the 2015 Elections. What if a delegate does not get on the Committees that debate a theme of peculiar interest to his constituency?

  3. Well great. If they can get thematic areas 1 and 2 right, they would have done Nigeria a lot of good. Though my pessimistic self is saying the Confab by these thematic areas have set themselves a task they cannot achieve. My optimistic self wishes them well. I will be emailing my thoughts on some of the areas. But Yadomah can you please give a little more guide to what you looking at to be a valid contribution that can be sent to you as submissions, so that you don't get a lot of mumble jumple. A word limit and some bit of outline to start with.

  5. Hello Yadoma, it's really thoughtful of you for engaging and involving with the larger society for input to make your work all-encompassing. I have been worried about our re-orientation as a people, so please find somewhere and fit that. I'm of the opinion that, that is built into our different stages in life development; primary education, secondary education, tertiary education, and work lives. I have noticed for long, that our attitudes to so many things that affect our lives have been affected by our orientation values, such as our attitudes to public projects, our attitudes to work and public responsibilities, our attitudes to each other as partners in national development, love for each other as citizens of the same country working for individual and collective benefits, etc.
